Flash MX2004 and Director MX - Macromedia Director Basics

I've just finished the master copy of a director CD - I have imported a Flash MX2004 animation (a simple one with no passed variables - just waits for a key press). Having read the posts here I see that Flash MX 2004 is not compatible with Director MX. Should I reimport having saved the Flash animation as an older file? It seems to work fine as it is, having tested it on several platforms. The CD needs to go out tomorrow (MONDAY) morning (!) ? Flashster...

I would save the Flash MS 2004 file as an older (say MX or 5) version and
then re-import it into Director. I am, however, and extremely paranoid
developer. What some people will tell you is that as long as you aren't
using any Flash MX 2004 features you should be okay. That may be correct,
but personally I'd go the 'save as an older version' route...just to be
    safe.
