Flash Player Has No Sound

Ok, so here's my problem. Whenever I view a flash file such as a movie made in
flash, there's no sound. All of my sound is turned up to the max. The movie
itself plays, but there is no sound. This happens whenever I view a flash file.
It's really annoying so if I could get some help, it would be much appreciated.

This has come up more frequently lately, but we don't have a firm fix
yet. This is something I hope to work on soon, once the Flash Player
8r24 release settles down. The causes seem to be external factors, but
no consistency so far in what they are..

So at this time I can say we're aware that it's a problem for some
folks, and there are some solutions that have worked for other
customers. But we don't have enough info to create a TechNote yet.

I found this out on foxnews video and scratched my head for days. Finally
removed flash and started java just for fun. Guess what? Now I got sound.
Reloaded flash and yep, sound went away. Removed flash again and sound came
back. But now my kid is mad at me because her barbie website will not load.
Being the good dad I went to reload flash again and yep, now flash will not
play. YOU GOTTA HELP ME!

Me too! For several days now (perhaps after downloading FP 11), no sound from Foxnews videos, no matter how remotely accessed.
