Flash Player Help!! - Macromedia Flash Player

Hello. They recently changed my computer at work with a new one (well, a DIFFERENT one) Its running WIndows 2000 Pr as was the old one. Whenever I try to access a website that requires flash, I get the message telling me I need the most recent version. I already have the most recent version installed! I tried uninstalling, restarting, reinstalling, etc. and cannot get it to work! I am pretty handy with computers so i know that i am not doing something stupid, but I am not so handy that I would fell comfortable playing around with Registry stuff ...

    DIFFERENT one)
Its running WIndows 2000 Pr as was the old one. Whenever I try to access a
website that requires flash, I get the message telling me I need the most
recent version. I already have the most recent version installed! I tried

pretty handy with computers so i know that i am not doing something stupid, but
I am not so handy that I would fell comfortable playing around with Registry
stuff unless I had some pretty detailed instructions...

    HELP PLEASE!

I kept searching their help online. I had to uninstall the previous
version.(which I don?t think was even installed on this new computer ? at least
it didn?t show on any program list) then I reinstalled the new version and it
worked! I didn?t save the link but if you search on uninstall flash player
    hopefully you?ll find it.

Yeah, I tried all that and it still didnt work for me. Anyway, I installed
Firefox Browser and am now using that instead of Internet Explorer and
everything works just fine... Kinda like it better anyway!
    Thanks!
