Flash player on x86_64 Linux - Macromedia Flash Player

I'm in the same boat. Just got the same error. I have a super computing cluster where some of my power supply units apparently use adobe flash to drive their web based UI. That means I have to put a 32 bit machine in the cluster. :) I haven't tried out the 32bit linux flash yet, but I know the windows version does just fine. That would in fact be the icing on the cake.... a 32 bit windows machine in the cluster. :(...

Use ndiswrapper... until Adobe comes up with a native plugin.

If you use Konqueror or Opera stay away from the latest (115) plugin. Keep 48.

Also stay away from 115 for now.

I'd like to throw my lot into this discussion.

We need 64 bit flash. Kludgy installs using 32 bit compat are half baked.

I have to agree with notbug. The old "we're not going to make an x86_64 version
because there are so few machines sold that are 64-bit" is not valid anymore.
It's become hard to find a machine that *isn't* 64-bit. If anyone from Adobe is
paying attention, PLEASE make the port a priority! The 64->32 bit shim for
linux that is currently out there isn't very good and flash x86 regularly
crashes. We need flash player x86_64!
