Flash problem

Wow, this is annoying.

I'm working on OS 10.3.8, Flash MX version 7.2 on a G5.

One of the files I'm working on in Flash does this:

I'll work on it for a few hours, then export the file to a .swf file.
Then a day later I'll need to make revisions to the .fla file so I open
it and things have changed!

Symbols seemed to have swapped places with other symbols. Movie clips
are replaced with buttons, buttons replaced with movie clips. Needless
to say when a button, which is only one word, replaces a 800px by 240px
background movie clip, things don't look like they should.


What could I be doing wrong?

It's under construction.


To give some details the best that I can, *in the .fla file the button
"Programs" which
comes after "News" has replaced the background movie clip. Now the
Programs button is up in the top left hand corner, the movie clip is
gone. One of the sub-menu buttons "admissions" has replaced the button
"Cornell" which is located on the right hand side under "Search."

I am trying to get Dreamweaver to link to a flash video file locally on a Mac
running OSX. The error message I keep getting in DW is "the URL cannot contain
spaces or special characters. Change the path or file name and try again."
I've tried changing the file name and path but still keep getting the error.
Is anyone aware of a way to link to a video file residing on a networked mac?

when wrote word in cyrillic in the insert Flash Button dialog box and click ok in the Document window appear unknown mark,
this problem is only when working in Flash-text /button
