Default Flash Slideshow - dude, I'm lost

To any semi-expert in flash,

In my modest lego opinion, the help manpages of Flash MX 2004 are a pain in
the ass.
I want to make something which should be straight forward and having a hard
time with it
A slideshow that blends from one picture to the next with a fixed time
interval and with an mp3 song in the background. For any expert this should be
done in 2 minutes, for me, unexperienced Flash user is a titanic task. Any help?

Thanks in advance

This works well. You'll have to add in the music yourself, but that is
probably the easy part. ;)

under behaviors, use the screens transition--you can do all that in there
for mp3---in the main window there is a song choice.

You can send me an email and I will send you a source file to a flash slideshow. That should help you get started.

I, too, am attempting to create a slide show. Did you find an easy way? I
expect mine to be a little more complex than most because I want to fade in
several pics on one screen with music and narration. Any help is appreciated.
My tests have been cumbersome.

There is a free utility for building simple slide shows in Flash called Power
Bullet Presenter. It's simple and about as hard to use as a Word Processor.

http://powerbullet.com/download.html

It kind of defeats he purpose of learning Flash but it can help you in a bind.

The swfs it creates aren't portable to Flash MX 2004.
