Flash + Tablet PC
I'm considering buying a tablet PC, mostly for animating in Flash. I do
a lot of fancy-pants full hand-drawn animation, and Flash's onion skin
feature and instant playback, combined with an interactive pen tablet
display, could in theory replace my pencil-and-paper animation table.
Does anyone here animate on a tablet? Any recommendadtions? The only
Tablet PC reviews I read are geared toward business users. I see no
reviews for graphics-oriented users at all. Does this mean tablets
aren't up to snuff for graphics yet?
Thanks,
--Nina

Re: Flash + Tablet PC
A good way to create flash animation with tablet PC, and the support of the
pressure of the pen, is to try something different from the standard flash.
Try www.the-tab.com , download the trial and enjoy.

Waccoms are great! It takes a little getting used to, the pressure of the
pen, size of the tablet but maybe it's because I have the lower-end model.
I'm new to Flash, and never tried their onion skin (but I'm sure to go look
for it now!) and I use PSP-7 and AS-3 for my cartooning and animation,
Fancy pants you say, do tell.....

Re: Flash + Tablet PC
If you'd be interested, i have a few examples, where I drew in painter
using a wacom tablet, then having recorded the strokes I simply movied
them and imported them into flash, as far as using the coordinates in
painter and entering them into flash, I worked a few months on this, and
my results have been back burnered, (not really that bad, but a few
complex bugs I created, and must straiten out)
go to http://jala-akuri.deviantart.com/
then in my gallery you should find the flash uploads.
