Float Layer Problem
I downloaded and installed the Float Layer extension available on the exchange
(author is Li-fong Lin). However, when I apply the behavior to a layer, it is
stationery and I cannot get it to float as it is designed to do. Any advice?
There is no documentation available, or so it seems.
Thanks, alleste

Re: Float Layer Problem
The Float layer extension is supposed to allow the layer to "float" along with text when scrolling. Anyone know what I am talking about?
I cannot get it to float.

Re: Float Layer Problem
i found a website that uses that Extension, and it only seems to work in
IE, not in Firefox. What browser are you using?

Re: Float Layer Problem
we'd have to see the page. give us a url?
But unless you are working on an intranet where you know everyone will
perforce be using IE, why would you want to use this script anyway?
There are other floating layer scripts out ther that work cross-browser.

Re: Float Layer Problem
Hi Michael:
Yes, I'd rather use a cross-browser script but haven't found one yet. Please
advise if you know of one.
Here is the page where I want to use this:
http://www.doorcountyvacationlodging.com/events_calendar.htm
I would like to have the Google ad groups float down the right column as the
user scrolls through events listings. At the moment I have them randomly placed.
Here is an excellent example of what I am trying to do.....in this website,
the layer in the left column floats as the user scrolls downward.
