You can attach text to a path in Fireworks, but it can't be done with
blocks of text. Why? Because Fireworks is for creating Web images, which
should not contain blocks of text. With only a few exceptions, all text
on an HTML page should be HTML text rather than graphic text.

Linda is basically right. Large areas of text on your page should be HTML and not images, but in answer to your question, I suggest that you use multiple text blocks in Fireworks and resize them around your object. Fireworks just doesn't have that feature yet. Please feel free to go to:
