    Default FMS troubles

I'm trying to troubleshoot an app that is using FMS. It works fine for me, but
my client is behind a pretty secure firewall. I had them do the port test and
    here is there results:

    RTMP DEFAULT Success
    RTMP 80 Failed
    RTMP 443 Failed
    RTMP 1935 Failed
    HTTP Tunneling DEFAULT Success
    HTTP Tunneling 80 Success

I know they can see other FMS content, but cannot see mine.

I did the same port test and received the following results:

    RTMP DEFAULT TimeOut
    RTMP 80 Failed
    RTMP 443 Success
    RTMP 1935 Failed
    HTTP Tunneling DEFAULT Success
    HTTP Tunneling 80 Success

I then created a similar test connecting to our FMS and got the following
    results:

    RMTP Default: Success 0.3s
    RMTP Port 1935: Rejected 0.3s
    RMTP Port 80: Closed 0s
    RMTP Port 80: Closed 0s
RMTPT (Tunneling) Default: Timed Out 20.1s
    RMTPT (Tunneling) Default: Closed 20.1s
RMTPT (Tunneling) Port 443: Timed Out 20.1s
RMTPT (Tunneling) Port 443: Closed 20.1s

I'm thinkg is has something to do with how the FMS is configured, but know
nothing about it. Can someone help me figure this out, or give me advice to
give to my server guy to get this up and running correctly????

    Thanks in advance.

Did you bind FMS to port 80 and 443? you have to configure the server to do si

Also, do you have an http server running on the same IP address? If so, the
two devices will be competing for port 80, and in my experience, the http
    server always wins

    Default Re: FMS troubles

Thanks for the info. I did not set up the FMS, so I have no idea how it is set
up. Can you explain what you mean by " Did you bind FMS to port 80 and 443? you
have to configure the server to do si", so I can send it to my server admin?

    Thanks
