Default Folder level security Differences in Reader 8.0 && 9.0

Does the following message mean that my users will need to all be running on Acrobat Reader 9.0 ?
I have some javascripts that work in Acrobat 9.0
This error message is encountered for an XFA document load javascript function attempting to load XML data from a file.

NotAllowedError: Security settings prevent access to this property or method.
    Doc.importXFAData:-1:XFA:CATALOG[0]:Page[1]:Button[0]:click

I checked all of the preferences and security settings available in Reader 8.0 and couldn't find anything related to this issue -
so i am sort of guessing that this sort of functionality is only available in Acrobat 9.0 or in higher levels of Reader .. (higher - such as Reader enabled 8.0 , etc... )
I am sort of hoping that I am wrong and that there is this cool little swithc that I am not aware of and someone on this forum can explain this little nightmare away . (lol)

importXFAData is indeed restricted from use in certain place unless the document is trusted.

    Consult the JavaScript reference.

I am using this doucment as a dgitally sined and certified document
but i am using Acrobat 9.0 to do this .
Is this possibly the issue ?

since the document is signed in 9.0 do I need to use acrobat 8.0 to sign and certify the document for the 8.0 reader (basically maintain a separate signed and certified document for 8.0 & 9.0)?

Acrobat 8 doesn't know about certification as a form of trust - that was only introduced in Acrobat 9.

    Yikes !

Is the 9.0 Reader available ?
    Is there a 9.0 Reader - ?
Is it still free - ?
Does the 9.0 Reader support the certification signature, etc . ?

Reader 9 has been available for many months now for Windows and Macintosh. Linux (and other Unix platforms) will be available shortly.
