Font Browser - How are they getting this list?

Hi guys,

Just visted [url]http://www.stcassociates.com/lab/fontbrowser.html[/url] . I have
tried it on Mac and Win now and it immediately displays the complete list of
fonts I have installed. Anyone know how this is done? Via system call?

No idea. But they are almost certainly doing some sort of system call.

Surprised to see that I have over 1700 fonts. WOW... that's a lot of fonts.
