Font displacement after export to PDF (CE & CYR fonts)
Does anyone know why whenever I export PageMaker or Quarkxpress document to PDF (using distiller 5.0), all CE and CYR (Czech, Russian etc) fonts got displacement in the PDF. What I mean is all the fonts show correctly except that some letters (eg. a, c) drop below the others which made the text looks funny. Trying different methods but still in vain.

Re: Font displacement after export to PDF (CE & CYR fonts)
Joseph,
What company designed the fonts? Are these fonts Opentype, postscript,
tt? How are they encoded? Are these professionally created fonts? For
Distiller is there a reason you are not using 5.0.5? Version 5.0.5 cured
many problems.

As a starting point, are you using the Acrobat Distiller PPD file when
you PRINT to postscript/PDF ?
