font list incomplete!
hello, i'm using DirMX on OSX (10.2.8)
My font lists (in the regular text tool or in imbed font) only goes to 'New York'
Its almost as if the list just ran out of room for more fonts and stopped in the "N"s...
Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

Are you using Adobe Type Manager or some other font managing software? There was a limitation on Macs prior to OSX where you could>

only have 128 (or 256? I forget which) fonts installed on your system at once, and anything else would be ignored. OSX supposedly
overcame this handicap, but alot of people upgraded and then continue to use the font manager software which is no longer really
necessary. All I know is I've got nearly 2000 fonts and they all work, both in OSX and on my Windows machines (which never had a
problem with it.) OS9 or earlier, you have to deal with that limitation.
