Font Problem - But font is on my system???
Hi, just had a question that I am sure is so simple to answere. I recently installed Illustrator on my computer and everytime I open Illustrator it comes up with an error that it cant find a font Myriad-Roman that a file (PDFMessage) requires...
Is there a way to make Illustrator not open this file or is there any other fixes out there... Thanks

Then repairing permissions does not apply to you. Try throwing away your Illlustrator preferences. I would also update your system to OS9.2.2. And make sure you have the updated Carbon lib extention 1.6.

Re: Font Problem - But font is on my system???
I just deleted my preferences and it still comes up with the Font Problem... Its just this file that it is trying to load... the program operates ok... is there any way to keep that file from auto loading and bringing that message up.?

Re: Font Problem - But font is on my system???
Try creating a new document and place the file in the new empty document.

Re: Font Problem - But font is on my system???
Find your Illustrator folder on your hard drive.
Open the folder called Plug-ins
Open the document called PDFMessage
Change all fonts to fonts that are always available on your system, preferably a system font loaded in your system fonts folder.
Save and close.
I hope that should take care of it.
[EDIT: looks you you posted your solution while I was writing the above. Sorry for the duplication]
