Font size is off (why in parenthesis?)
Okay, why does the size of one font in InDesign look like this?
11 pt(7.08)
What's the deal here?

Re: Font size is off (why in parenthesis?)
The text frame was scaled. THe original point size is show, with the scaled result in parentesis. If you type a new point size, the text will be rescaled based on htat size. Typing "12 pt" for the text size will not change the size.
It's a bother, and I have not heard from anyone who likes it.
Select the text frame with the selection tool (Black arrow) and choose Scale Text Attributes from the Transform palette's menu.
