FONTS ARE CHANGING CROSS PLATFORM - Adobe Acrobat Windows

I have created fillable forms on my home MAC computer using Acrobat Distiller 4.0. All fields have been defined as Helvetica Regular. When I open them on a PC under Acrobat 6.0, a couple of fields, when filled, show up as Times Bold. What is going on here please? Thank you ... Grateful Kenny....

    Were the fonts fully embedded?

I am having the same problem. I am creating form fields using OCRA and OCRA Alternate. They are fine in Acrobat v5, but when collegues open them in 4.0.5, the font is not available. I have embedded all the fonts.

    Is this a compatibility problem?

Yes. Acrobat 5 was the first version to allow you to use virtually any system font for form fields. Earlier versions can only use the "base 13" fonts.
