Fonts don't go away after deactivation
I'm curious if there is a way to remove unwanted fonts from Illustrator's pull-down font menus after you've deactivated them. Is there? I mean short of restarting the program that is.

Re: Fonts don't go away after deactivation
I'm curious about this, too. In every version of Illustrator I've worked on, on every system I've used, it seems as if Illustrator and Photoshop can't revise their font menus while open. This occasionally seems to cause crashes. The ironic thing is that I notice the problem effects only ADOBE programs when I use ADOBE Type Manager to open or close fonts. Quark detects the changes. My Microsoft apps detect the changes. About the only apps which can't detect the font menu changes are Adobe apps. It seems that Adobe should coexist with Adobe at least as efficiently as other developers.

Re: Fonts don't go away after deactivation
Geez, I thought mine deacivated if I chose them to. I'll have to check tomorrow. I do know that I get weird fonts showing up all the time. Is that an embedded font thing or someone screwing with me?
