Fonts not listed
I'm using FH 10 and windows XP, and FH is not seeing all variations of truetype fonts, which is causing problems when outputting PDFs.
For example, XP has the full Arial font package installed (bold, italic, bolditalic ttf files are there), but FH sees only Arial plain in its list and then gives the italic, bolditalic etc. font style options in the clickable pull down menu below.
Problem is, none of these clickable options ever makes it into a PDF. And I cannot select those font styles from the main menu because FH does not list them. Catch 22.
Can anyone help, either with the font recognition problem, or the PDF problem? Cheers.

Are you sure the fonts are True Type and not Open Type?
FH10 doesn't fully support the specs behind OpenType. And then if I use
OTFs on an older (and far more stable) Freehand 9 installation, the OTFs
will often cause the program to crash.
The best advice I can give is either find real True Type versions of Arial
and install them within XP instead --or better yet, use a better font than
Arial and load it in Postscript Type 1. I can't stand stand Arial (to me it
is a somewhat ugly font that copies the same metrics as Helvetica, and it is
the font I usually see "murdered" in various distortions on signage from low
ball poor quality sign shops).
