I've gotten endnote conversion from MSWord to InDesign CS figured out, but am unable to place an MSWord document with embedded footnotes properly. It either leaves them out or converts them to endnotes. How do I work with footnotes with ID CS, or does it just not do footnotes?

It doesn't do footnotes automatically. There are plugin but I haven't
used them to give you any kind of review.

    L,

Search recent archive posts. We've already gone hammer-and-tongs at this topic repeatedly. There are scripts and work-arounds described and supplied by sympathetic fellow victims of IDCS's not yet having gotten around to this particularly important aspect of long docs.
