Foreign fonts in il.CS

I'm using Il.CS with windows. Does any one know how to make foreign fonts work in this version of illustrator?

Are they single byte fonts? If they will work in English version of Windows, just install it like you would any font. But that's not going to work with double byte fonts (asian/cyrillic/hebrew, etc.).

Soon there will be a Middle Eastern version of Adobe Illustrator-ME, and that will be able to easily handle Arabic, Hebrew and other languages.

You will not be able to have right-to-left Middle Eastern support in English edition of Adobe software. Adobe-ME would give you many more options.

I suspect any font a MAC can use in Illustrator, the PC version of that same font can use. I don't believe a MAC can use double byte fonts either in English version, can they (I know very little about a MAC)? There are some types of Chinese fonts that can be used in English version of Windows and thus are available for Illustrator. Other's have mentioned them here. Perhaps if you made a Search for Chinese fonts, you can find the topic they were listed in.

yes, Chinese characters can be typed in Illustrator 10 Mac version, a friend of mine showed me how to, but she had no PC version, do you know which tool to choose to type Chinese characters in Illustrator 10 PC version?
