    You're used to older PHP versions, aren't you?
    The default handling of global vars changed around version 4.1:

    Default Form

    I am trying to put a form on my website using microsoft publisher. On the
    form proprties I assigned it to send information to my email address. When I
    fill out the form on my website and hit submit I get a "page cannot be
    found" and nothing comes to my email address. How do I get my form to work?

    but dont rely on it as a secure solution. There is still ways to change that fields value and submit it. Its not a good practice unless you just dont want the use to change the value and get confused.

    Default Re: FORM

    Hi,

    FORM.MovieTitle is the variable being passed from the form in form1.htm to
    form1_action.cfm. FORM describes the type of variable, in this case a form
    variable. Other variable types include URL, Session, Local and so on.

    I checked your code and it is fine. Check that CF is running and also check
    your site setup.

    of all the form fields.

    <html><head><title>Form</title></head><body><form>

    <input type="hidden" name="B" />

    <select name="E">

    <option>One</option>

    <option>Two</option>

    <option>Three</option>

    </select>

    <select name="F" multiple>

    <option>Four</option>

    Post your form to a page with this info on it:

    <cfloop collection="#form#" item="Varname">
    <cfoutput>
    #Varname#<br>
    #form[Varname]#
    </cfoutput>
    </cfloop>

    And it will output all form variables and their values. This will aid you in
    knowing what is being passed.

    If you need to actually do something with the data, all form values are passed
    as:
    #form.formfieldname# <-- replace . formfieldname with the actual field name
    you assigned it in the form.
