    Default Form Control

I have a subform in which the record buttons are visible (i.e. current
record number, forward, backward, new record). How do I turn this off?

    Thanks,

Sounds like you are layering the submit button with a text box (an object)
or a picture frame (an object). Form controls must be directly on the page.

Is your background a "true" background - Format menu, Background ?
Or did you draw an object like a filled text box and call it a background?
