    Default Form Difficulties

I'm running Access 95 (is this too old of a version to get help with here?
hope not). The first form I create is visible in the database windows.
However, when I try to create a second (third etc) form, exit the program,
and then get back into the database in question, the second form is not
visible. If I go to the Database Properties under the File menu and select
the contents tab, the second form is visible here. I go to Tools, Options,
View and select Hidden Objects, click apply and this still doesn't show the
    second form. I'm puzzled.

Second and final question. When I get back into the database and try to
edit in design view or even display the first form I get the following
message "The form name 'Main Screen' you entered in either the property
sheet or a macro is mispelled or refers to a form that doesn't exist." I
can't for the life of me figure what's wrong. I can't even get into design
view to try to figure it out. I have no idea what I did. I can't think of
any property that I changed to cause this.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

TH, this sounds like your database is corrupt.

Access 95 as originally released was very buggy, and there were a number of
patches released. If you don't have them, you really need them.

You could try creating a new (blank) database, importing the objects that
are visible. Then see if you can create new forms in the new database.

Although it would be possible to loop through the Documents in the
Containers to see if the forms are there, or to query the MSysObjects table
for them, I doubt that would be a productive route.

Thanks for answering. Do you happen to know where I can get Access 97 (even
if it is a part of Office 97 Pro) for a reasonable price? I noticed that
even this version of access/office is expensive.

Not really; you'ld have to do some websurfing for secondhand software.

    Sorry, TH.

If you cannot create a new database and import the existing objects, the
database is probably beyond rescue unless you are prepared to pay someone
    such as pksolutions.com
