Form Processing Problems - Macromedia ColdFusion

Bear with me here, I am very, very new at Coldfusion. I am trying to do a simple form and process it to see if it works. However, everytime I submit the form I get the error: 500 There is no web application configured to service your request. I 'm testing the form locally on my Mac running 10.4. Is this a problem with my code, or do I need to enable something on my computer to test the form?...

    Default Form Processing Problems

    Bear with me here, I am very, very new at Coldfusion. I am trying to do a
    simple form and process it to see if it works. However, everytime I submit the
    form I get the error:

    500 There is no web application configured to service your request.

    I 'm testing the form locally on my Mac running 10.4.

    Is this a problem with my code, or do I need to enable something on my
    computer to test the form?

    Either your computer is not setup right to server CF pages or its a coding issue. Can you post your code for us to see?

    Sure, the form page is....

    <body>
    <form name="contactform" id="contactform" method="post" action="mailer.cfm">
    <fieldset>
    <legend>Contact Form</legend>
    <p><label for="fname">Name:</label><input type="text" name="name" id="name"
    value="" size="30"/></p>
    <p><label for="femail">Email:</label><input type="text" name="femail"
    id="femail"size="30"/>
    </p>
    <p><label for="fconfirmemail">Confirm Email:</label><input type="text"
    name="fconfirmemail" id="fconfirmemail"size="30"/>
    </p>
    <p><label for="ftelephone">Telephone:</label><input type="text"
    name="ftelephone" id="ftelephone" value="" size="15"/>
    </p>
    <p><label for="fcomments">Comments:</label><textarea name="fcomments"
    cols="30" rows="5" id="fcomments"></textarea>
    </p>
    <p><input type="reset" name="Submit" value="Reset"/><input name="Submit"
    type="submit" value="Submit"/>
    </p></fieldset>
    </form>
    </body>

    The processing page is...

    <body>
    <CFMAIL TO="********.net" FROM="#Form.femail#"
    SUBJECT="Form from your webpage">

    You just received an email from your Contact Us page!

    </CFMAIL>
    </body>

    I have tried using the SEVER tag to specify my ISP mail server, but it throws
    up an error saying I haven't specified one.

    Likewise, when I in put the server into the CF Admin, the email doesn't seem
    to go anywhere at all.
