Form Text Box -- text wrapping
I'm using Acrobat Professional ver 7.0.8 on a PowerMac G5 running Mac OS X 10.4.7. I'm creating a form and have several text boxes for long text entries. How can I set up the text box to wrap the text, i.e., in a multi-line format for viewing and printing, rather than produce one long line with a scroll bar? The text we're talking about could be as much as 200 words.
Regards,
JP

Re: Form Text Box -- text wrapping
A/ Double-click on the field (in mode 'Advanced/Forms/Edit Fillable Form...')
B/ You'll get the 'properties' dialogue box. Go to the 'Options' tab
C/ Select "Multi-Line" (first item of the checkbox list)
D/ Apply that and it should allow you to wrap text in the box now.

But I think that it won't show when printed. elsewise it would cover up anything below the box.
You have to create a large enough box to hold all of your text for that.

Re: Form Text Box -- text wrapping
Bruce,
If you double click on the text field, click on the options button and
click on the multiline check box. You can make it scrollable if you
want or just make the field as large as the longest entry.
