Default Form textbox effects row height

When I put a form/text box in a table cell it increases the height of the
row. How can I control this. It makes it way too tall. Thanks

    Murray,

I don't see where I can put CSS details about a form. If I create a css
style, there are no options for "Forms".
    Thanks
