Default Format text in text area

I have a text area on a form and I need a way to recognize when a user enters a
line break. I want to send the data in the box to a database and later
retrieve it with the included breaks.

Does anyone know of a way to do this; either with code or an OTS software
    package.

If you are just displaying the text as HTML then:

    ReplaceNoCase(yourvalue,Chr(10),'<br>','ALL')

If you are just worried about th breaks, then just write the form variable to
the DB, it will include the breaks in it. If you want them to edit it, just
write out the db variable betweeen <textarea> tags and the breaks will show up.
If you ever want to display the contents in HTML with breaks, just use
#ParagraphFormat(myVar)# and it will put in the necessary BR and P tags for you.

This is free and works well.
