Default FORMS - printing and emailing interactive forms

    I'm using Acrobat 7 Pro on a Mac 10.4.8.

I would like to create an interactive (order) form for my client to post on her website which her customers could select and complete. The form, once complete, would have the option to either be printed (and faxed) or submitted by email. My client just wants the PDF with the information that she can print. We don't need to do anything fancy like extract data into a database on a server.

    1. Is this possible to create a Print function
In CIB (classroom in a book), pg 444, it says to choose the Action tab, Execute a menu item, then click Add. A menu item selection window should appear BUT IT DOESN'T.

    2. Would my client (on a PC) need to have Acrobat pro - neither CIB or the Help feature is very clear on how the data looks when its received in an email. i.e. is 1. the whole PDF form sent with all the original formatting and filled in fields (which could be extracted if necessary although I don't need to do that), or 2. the field names and data entered emailed, or 3. just the data entered is emailed.

    3. If I can do the above, how do I go about creating a Submit email button -- I can't find anything in either the CIB or in any of the help features.

    thank you.

    dear greenwise
is it ok to solicite business using this forum ...
    meaning ...
i can do what you require your form to do...for a fee...
if you wish to contact me ...
if we are not supposed to be solicitng opportunities here then that is
    ok too...
i would simply tell you how to do all this in this forum ...
but it is a series of steps ...and if i left one out in the telling ...
well that would only frustrate us both...
you could if you have the time to experiment a little ....
simply type your question into help index and read and re-read the
    instructions...
    some things to watch ...
adobe does not always call things by what seems to make sense...
so vocabulary needs to be learned
while reading the instructions... do as they ask operation by
    operation...,
    then test the result...
i can not emphasize enough to you ...
you need to have an experimental attitude toward the creative process
    .....
things will not always work like you want them to or...
look as you think they should with out many test drives of your
    choices....
    good luck ....
    yours

    dear greenwise
one fix is real simple ...
    problem...
the button you request does not appear on your screen or in your
    form...

    possible fix...
in the pallet tool (maybe under appearance)
there are selections to be made that relay info on how the button
    should appear
.... visible or invisible... fillled or not and what color if filled...
also if it is printable or only appearing on the form
for instance i hid the "clear and reset form" button under the logo of
    a form...
only the owners of the form know this....
so if there are multiple fillings of different information...
one simply clicks on the logo and it clears....
on the printed version and on the screen
only the portion of the logo that has this button active is visible ...
and this function also works if they only have reader....
so if they have reader they can print filled form and then clear and
    refill

    good form filling...
    yours
