Forms: Text field - auto fill another field?

Someone PLEASE help me...

how do i structure a form so that when text is entered into one field, it auto-fills other fields on the form that are equal to the same text?

i.e. user fills in "Watermelon" in the first field. This text is also required in 3 other fields on the form. Is there a way to auto-link the fields so that the user only has to type "watermelon" in once?

Yeah, give all the fields the same name.

I am using Acobat 9. I want to auto fill other fields, such as last names, addresses, etc., that are in the same document, but then also other documents. is there a way to link fields of one document to another? I would also want to have a link, where when a box is checked it would bring up another document.

All of these documents are part of packet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
