Re: Forum to OE Newsgroup
Yes, they are available as newsgroups (but that has nothing to do with Outlook).

Re: Forum to OE Newsgroup
To access the forum through OE, just use the forum server address of www.adobeforums.com, signing in with your registered user name and password. This forum is found as adobe.photoshop.windows.

Re: Forum to OE Newsgroup
But I use Outlook Express as a newsgroup reader and normally you have to click a link to do so I thought? Can someone point me in the right direction by providing a link or something? Thank you.

Re: Forum to OE Newsgroup
You will need to set OE using...
Tools>Accounts>Add>News
Fill in the info for name & email, then for the server use...
adobeforums.com
and fill in your password.
Then you download the list of groups, and subscribe to the ones you
want to read regularly. You can also read a group without subscribing.
When using a newsreader to reply to a message in Adobeforums, be sure
to avoid quoteing-in-full the previous message, as it gets redundant
for the web forum users, who see the whole thread already. This is
different from the usual quote conventions on Usenet, where you are
usually expected to quote the relevant parts of the previous message
in your reply.
Other groups on Usenet include...
alt.graphics.photoshop & comp.graphics.apps.photoshop
These are not on Adobe's server, so you will need to set up a
different account for the rest of the Usenet newsgroups; your ISP
probably carries newsgroups and they can tell you their server name.
OE is just one of several newsreader programs available, some of them
free, and OE is a rather poor one at that. I use Forte Agent, and they
have a free version, Free Agent. And there are some others that are
very good, so I am told.

Re: Forum to OE Newsgroup
You can use OE as newreader, ya know, Chris.
Not a good one, but it does work.

Re: Forum to OE Newsgroup
Although I don't use OE as newsreader, the basic drill is same for any of
them:
Set up new news server:
www.adobeforums.com
use username/password for it.
Then subscribe to the groups on the adobe server that you want to read.
