    Sorry, I should have responded earlier. Yes I think i have solved the problem. I believe the problem lies with the Mac OS X integrated PDFing having compatibility problems with the latest version of Adobe Acrobat 7 Reader.

    It only seems ot be on certain objects, such as imported/converted .DWG images, as opposed to just .jpg or similar.

    If you are using adobe acrobat or an alternative freeware PDF tool, then you can use the print to PDF function by selecting your printer as Adobe PDF (or similar), instead of using the "Save to PDF" function.
