Default Frameset page cannot be previewed remotely

    Hello,

I've been using frameset and testing the web pages locally. It worked fine
until I added a PHP page to get data dynamically from a database. I set up the
remote and testing servers(both are in the same location). The pages are built
on Mac OS 10.2.8, Apache, MySql and PHP. When I preview the pages with remote
and testing servers, I get the following message:
    "
Framesets cannot be previewed when testing server is remote. Would you like
    to preview the framesets locally?
    "
If Yes, database connection doesn't establishe and the PHP page doesn't come
    up.
If No, nothing can be previewed.

I believe frameset page can go with dynamic page on a same website. Am I
missing any configuration in between pages?
How can I fix the problem? Please advise.

    Thanks in advance.

Default Re: Frameset page cannot be previewed remotely

What worked for me is going AROUND dreamweaver, I have CS5 and I get a similar message when i try to F12 a page with frames. Access the site directly by opening up a browser and typing in the page's address instead of having Dreamweaver opening it up for you.
