Freedom by HP pop up

i keep getting a pop up thats to DL a program called
freedom.(internet security type) It will not let me
just close it. i cannot use help button, it doesnt do
anything...has aanyone ever had this problem or know what
i am talking about or what i should do? it has installed
and the icon is a little keyhole looking thingy. thanks
for any help i can get. kelli

Install some Anti SpyWare, AdWare software.

You can try with Ad-Aware. It works quite well for me and it is free. You
can download it here [url]http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/[/url].

Since it works just like anti virus it is recommended that you update it
every once in a while so that it updates it signature files.

What you can also do is delete all the cookies and Temporary Internet Files
(Open Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet Options...)

And you might want to use two anti SypWare, AdWare, ... software. What one
might not be able to find the other might be able ...
