I'm having the same problems, but that's because of FontAgent, the font manager
I use (I may switch back to Suitcase just because of this). When FontAgent
activates a font when a document is opened, Freehand will not print. If I
activate manually the font before opening the program, everything prints OK.
Have you installed the fonts in User/library/fonts ?

In Freehand 10 and 11 (not 11.02) we always had to convert fonts to outlines
    otherwise they would not print.

We now use Suitcase X1 (11.02) and Freehand 11.02 and fonts now print OK even
if they have been activated after opening Freehand.

I would use Suitcase to manage fonts. By having multiple fonts installed you
    could be 'confusing' things!

11.0.2 should cure postcript printing problems with fonts displaying and not
printing - it sorted mine. I also use Suitcase X1 (ver. 11.0.2) and everything
    is fine now.

I had similar probs when I upgraded to OS 10.3 and was using Fh10.
