Freehand > eps > pdf, not centred on page
Hi
I am exporting a 28 A5 Page freehand document as an eps (each page
separately), and then distilling it to a pdf.
I have two problems:
1 - I have exported the freehand document to an eps, by File > Export, save as
eps, and pages to 1 to 1. But when I export it and open the eps it has all 28
pages.
2 - When I distill the eps and open it it appears in the bottom left corner of
the PDF, the original freehand document is A5, distiller is setup to center and
resize the page to fit the eps.
Can anyone help me with these problems.
Many thanks

Re: Freehand > eps > pdf, not centred on page
I have found the FH Export command to be inaccurate at times.
i.e. even if All pages is selected, if the from to boxes do not
include the last pages they will be missing.
Try this.
On each page put a rectange that is to page size. Make the border
the same color as background and no fill. You can do this on sep
layer and turn off when going to print.
On each page Select All, then export and check selected items only.
That should give you each page separately and take care of the
boundry problem.

Re: Freehand > eps > pdf, not centred on page
When the desired end result is a multi-page PDF, printing to Postscript file
is a better method than exporting to EPS.
If you print the entire FH document to a Postscript file and the .ps file is
Distilled, all pages will be the paper size selected in the print command,
and objects will be positioned just as they are in the FreeHand document
pages.
