frozen window - Macromedia Flash Player

Hi there ! I have windows vista home premium; and have a problem on a web site where I'm supposed to be able to start my webcam. I see the Adobe Flash Player Parameter window coming in, with "Autorize" or "Deny" (I have translated it, because I have the French version. By default, the check box is "Deny". If I want to click on Autorize, then nothing happens (the Autorize checkbox is not modified". I have the same behavior on all tabs (display, access Control, ...) I can't even exit the window. Please someone can help me ? Many Thanks ...

    Default frozen window

    Hi there !

I have windows vista home premium; and have a problem on a web site where I'm
supposed to be able to start my webcam.
I see the Adobe Flash Player Parameter window coming in, with "Autorize" or
"Deny" (I have translated it, because I have the French version.

By default, the check box is "Deny". If I want to click on Autorize, then
nothing happens (the Autorize checkbox is not modified".

I have the same behavior on all tabs (display, access Control, ...)
I can't even exit the window.

Please someone can help me ?
    Many Thanks !!

If you can use your webcam on other websites, you can try the demos here:
    http://www.wintechmedia.com/mproducts.htm

If everything works, contact the site where your cam doesn't work.
If it still doesn't work, try to reinstall flash

What browser do you use? There might be a security problem with an option or setting.

    ok ...
I have tried the 2 "application" given by the URL.

The first (Flash AV Recorder Player) one comes with the Parameter window where
I need to click on Autorize or Deny.
It is not working from there. Same problem ... it is just like It is not
recognizing I'm clicking on the button.

Same for the second one (Flashcam) .

I'm wondering if there is not a problem with the fact that I need to click to
(activate the window / controle ...)
The first time I click on the window, it is just like the window is sliding a
few milimeters on the right ?!?

I have viste home premium, with Expolrer 7.0

Did you test it with Mozilla? That way, you may deteriorate the problem in a
way. If it doesn't run on Mozilla as well then it's a file problem. If it's
running on Mozilla but not on IE then there might be an option under the
security settings of IE or a setting on the player that limits the
    functionality.

Do you run an antivirus on your system that might be blocking scripts or popup
windows? That might also be an issue when it comes to web apps.

Test and give back some feedback.

    Best wishes ;-)

I'm wondering if this has not a relation with a problen that I remember on win
XP where we needed to click first on a control to "activate" it.

Could be the same problem on Vista, I don't know.

I have also disabled completely my Mcafee ... but problem is the same.
