FS: Canon EF 70-200 f4 L - Photography

Hey all, I have the above lens for sale. This is one of the flagship Canon lenses, and is immaculately sharp, with great contrast and colour. It is in perfect optical condition, having had a UV filter on the front for most of its short 12 month life (only removed when I wanted to use a Circular Polariser). There is no fungus or noticeable dust inside the lens, and externally nothing a er brush couldn't remove. The body is in nearly as good condition, with a small scuff mark where the included lens hood attaches to the barrel, as well ...

    Hey all,

I have the above lens for sale. This is one of the flagship Canon lenses,
and is immaculately sharp, with great contrast and colour.

It is in perfect optical condition, having had a UV filter on the front for
most of its short 12 month life (only removed when I wanted to use a
Circular Polariser). There is no fungus or noticeable dust inside the lens,
and externally nothing a er brush couldn't remove.

The body is in nearly as good condition, with a small scuff mark where the
included lens hood attaches to the barrel, as well as some very slight wear
marks (most people would not notice them, but I would rather the buyer is
    pleasantly surprised, than angry)

I am selling the lens, because I just bought its bigger, (much) heavier, and
more expensive 70-200 f2.8. This lens is exceptionally well suited to every
day shooting, of people, sports (it has amazingly fast autofocus speed), and
is light enough to take hiking for amazing scenics.

The price is $1100 ONO (+ shipping and handling of $20 if you aren't in
Canberra to pick it up). (RRP is $1599, and even on-line you won't get
more than a couple of hundred dollars off, even if the stores have them in
    stock

If you are keen, send an email, and we can continue via email or phone (my
preference - unless you are in Canberra, and a face to face would be ideal)

US version does us no good in OZ
Ok at your figures and remeber the exchange isnot as good with credit cards
    so make it .68
it will cost you around $40-45 to send it here more with fedex but say you
    want to gamble with usps
580 say so comverts to 850
    add $100-120 for import duty
    $970 Aus
ok his price is $100 higher and its used
probbly talk him down to $950 so its a little less
i would ask for a 8day return policy from him.
no waiting, lens is in OZ

    sound better

The US lense is brand new, with international warranty. That sounds better.

Also, a second-hand item does not normally have a warranty.

for the same price (US version - $560 + $20 rebate). Exchange rate is
    0.6999...

yeah I'm afraid buying new in Oz, you just have to cop it come resale time
$800 or so would be fairer, depending on condition
