Hi all, Asking on behalf of a friend: Minolta RD-175 Digital SLR 3 CCDs for a 1528 x 1146 Pixel image Accepts all Minotla AF lenses Auto Focus and Auto Exposure Shooting Mode: Program, Shutter Priority, Aperture Priority, Manual Shutter 1/2 to 1/2000 White Balance: Auto, Manual (3200K/ 5500K/Flash/ Fluorescent) Uses either Type-3 PCMCIA hardrives or standard Compact Flash with PCMCIA adapter Will hopefully have some photos of actual unit to show tomorrow night if anyone is keen.     Asking on behalf of a friend:

    Accepts all Minotla AF lenses

    Wow!!

    It has been so long since I have had one of those. Fun to use, I still have
    the SCSI card and software for it. Ask him if he will take $250 for it COD
    to Perth :)

    No sale at $250, sorry.

    He wants around $500 or he'll just keep it until Minolta release a follow
    dSLR body to use his lenses. That's less than decent point and shoot
    digicam I guess.

    So was the price. I remember that one. I had just sold mine for $800 and
    they wanted over $2500 for theirs. Naturally I Castled them.

    I think they dropped the price to $1500 eventually and then sold it after
    that.
