FTP and Uploading Issue

I'm having the hardest time. I am using Dreamweaver MX 2004. Everytime I try
to uploading/"put" my site I get this error message for every single image:

"An FTP error occurred-cannot put index_01.gif. Access Denied. The file may
not exist or there could be a permission problem."

Grrrrr. I created my slices in Adobe ImageReady. All of the images are in
the "images" folder in the "files" tab in Dreamweaver, and they are also in the
"assets" tab. What could the problem be??? I'm so totally
confused!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please, please please, help me!!!!!

If you are having a problem in the FTP then the first place I would look is
to ask your webhost to check the server permissions particular any
associated with FTP access.
