Did you remember to also upload the external JavaScript file (.js)?

    Win,
when I generated the files under FW and DW I didn't find any *.js generated along with them to be uploaded. I searched but I didn't find them or it.

    Hi Cluster:

For the menus to work at all on your local machine, there had to be a
..js file. Examine your site folders carefully on your local site in
Dreamweaver, you should find it there unless you have the system hiding
    ..js files.

    Ok we are almost there.
I put mm_menu.js as reference in the uploaded web page and the error messages are gone!

Now the main problem remanis: the menu doesn't appear under the hotspot when passing with the mouse pointer over the spot.
What is still missing? I noticed that the descriptions.png of the menu bars (up and over) are present on the web but I still miss some needed particular.

    Thanks again

    Cluster:

It's always in the code. See this TechNote and particularly the section on the code:

    <http://www.macromedia.com/support/fireworks/ts/documents/troubleshooting_pop_up_menu.htm>
You probably have some piece of code in the wrong place on the page or one of your links is not working.

I went through the troubleshooting and the problem seems in Fireworks.
In browser preview the pop-up menu works but when i play it outside FW from the browser it doesn't work even in local.

I checked everything as stated and did it again and again without success.
    Any suggestion?

Suggestions? Yes - dump them. Really.

If you want to continue with these menus, however, show me your code and
tell me what is happening or not happening for you.
