FW hotspots into DW sample

Before i begin, let me apologise for asking what is probably a simple and basic question for the forum users, but i´was left with Studio MX 2004 on my hands and told i had to come up with a webpage ASAP for my Company! i am new in this cool Macromedia World and here´s my problem >>>
I´ve created in Fireworks, a background picture with Hotspots included (it selects multiple active areas along with pop-up notes when hovering above a specific area) but when i past it (saved as PNG, JPG or HTML) onto my Dreamweaver sample page (Menu bar, Text window and Picture frameholder) the picture looses his hotspots and notes... So? what am i doing wrong or what did i forgot to do?

Hi Alexa,

Without the benefit of actually seeing the document, I can only make
guesses at what the problem might be. Two things come immediately to
mind. 1: Hotspots will not export by themselves. They need to be
included in slices. 2: Make sure you are exporting Images & HTML.
