Garbled/Stacked characters when printing

Have a sudden and perplexing problem this morning ...

Went to print PDFs (which I've printed before no problem) off my Brother MFC-7820N and all the characters in the document stack on top of one another to the left hand side. It also looks like it's substituting the correct font for something else, but difficult to tell.

I have test printed a few other PDFs and they are all showing the same problem.

The only change I've done lately is to load the additional language support off the OSX install DVD.

My InDesign docs all print fine.

Try clearing the font cache -

How do I do that? I did run Yasu but had the same problem afterwards. I'm using Font Agent Pro for my font management.
