Gaussian Blur Disappears, affects drop shadows etc.

Okay, so my blur has disappeared and now i can't use the drop shadow the way i want (its all blocky and one color)... i reinstalled the program, it fixed it for about a week, and now i'm back to the same problem. Has anyone else experienced this? Am i doing something that could be removing the Blur FX from my system?

Chris,

Something is corrupting your AIPrefs file. You do not have to reinstall, but go to FAQ topic and find how to delete the AIPrefs file there. That should fix your problem. But probably it'll happen again until you find what you are running on your system or setup that's causing the corruption to begin with.
