i need a gcc library for a minimalist distro..

i downloaded uClibc, but i don't understand how to install the compiler
executables (only the compiler) to save space on hard drive...

on the site there is a section (faq) that talk about toolchain...

what can i do to make my programs compile correctly on my system with
uClibC?
