General Questions about Building Login Pages and ServerBehaviors
This is the first experience I've had with building login pages and using
server behaviors, and this has left me with some questions:
1. I have followed the "building a login page" tutorial and am a bit
confused. The server behaviors tab writes code; however the code doesn't work
when testing on the desktop. At least I could access the page when it'son the
server, but it doesn't work correctly--only giving me the login failed page
even though I've copied the login and password out of the table. It appears
that the query isn't running properly, though I've checked it and it is written
correctly to the proper data base, table and columns. I'm completely mystified
as why this is working.:-<<<<
2. Is the server behavior supposed to replace hand-coding an application
page? I'm a little fuzzy on this point.
3. Since I can't seem to get the server behaviors to work what are my
options?
Thank you in advance for any light shed on my problem.
