Generic Web Service Question
Hi,
I am a relative newbie to the web services world and hence, do excuse
if this question sounds naive. We have a request to come up with a
'generic web service' for file upload. What i would like to know is
what does generic web service exactly mean ? Does it imply a web
service that will work any platform that supports web services ? Is
'generic web service' an informal term or is it one which has a formal
definition ?
