Generic Win32 host process has encountered an error and
needs to close. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

Note: KB shows this type of error message coming up for
people with HP printers. My computer doesn't and has
never had an HP printer attached, and currently does not
have nor share a printer.

This message pops up randomly, but most of the time right
after I sign on.

After the message, my network connection manager icon
(the small linked computers icon in the bottom right)
does not respond. It still shows even though my DSL
software is not connected.

I can relog onto my DSL connection without the connection
manager showing up, but I lose my XP's firewall, etc.

This error started about 3 weeks ago, and has never
happened since I got this computer (early February). And
before then, Ive never installed any new software that
hasn't already been installed before.
