Getting plug ins from photo shop

I have illustrator 10.2 and have lost the filter plug-is. how can I get them back.

Re-install Illustrator. You CANNOT use the plugins that ship with Photoshop,
they were re-written for Illustrator.

So have I ! Now that's strange. I'm in AI 10.

I first lost them 3 days ago and reinstalled all my upgrades from AI8 onwards... It worked, but now it's happened again.

Serves me right for calling AI drop shadows wimpy

I did that once Len, and it stayed good for enough to get 3 signs out for one day, then repeated the problem the next day !!!

Mike,

No need to re-install earlier versions - the 10 installer will just ask you
for a previous version CD to verify qualification during the installation.

No idea WHY you're plug-ins should have gone walk-about, though, though it
might be worth trying trashing your prefs file as per the FAQ at the top of
this forum's Topic List
