You don't. Projectors are exectuable programs soecific for each platform. Unfortunately you can only create a projector for the platform that corresponds to the version of Director you are running.

Re: Getting Projector File To Work On Both PC and Mac?
Here's a tip:
1. Create a stub movie in the root of your project folder.
2. In this stub movie, add 2 lines of code:
on startMovie
the searchPaths = [the moviePath & "media"]
go movie "start"
end
3. create a folder named "media" in your root folder and put all your casts and director movies there
4. make sure your first actual movie is called "start.dir"
5. supposing you word on a mac, make a projector from the dir file "stub". Send this stub to a friend which has the pc version and let him make a projector.
6. You can use these projectors for all your subsequent projects, as long as the first movie in your project is called "start.dir". You can even rename your projectors for future project.
This is a very handy method for not having to remake your projectors every time!
Succes
